Today was the first full day of camp. Morning came early as we met at our flagpole and raised the official Camp Norden flag. Our counselors got everyone moving and grooving in no time!

Breakfast was served and they were off for adventures. There are so many fun things to do at camp! Some chose to test their archery skills while others took pontoon rides, challenged themselves on the trust course or made music!

After the action, it was time for lunch. Two of our sharp shooter campers earned a chance to pie a counselor in the face. All loved this, ha! Rest hour and then off to waterfront. Paddle boards, canoeing, more boat rides, fishing, tubing and volleyball made the afternoon fly by! The weather today was picture perfect, floating clouds, soft breeze and sunshine :).

The evening brought even more fun. After a fabulous dinner of tacos, campers were ready to dominate color night! Each cabin group was assigned a color and participated in fun team-building exercises. As colors flew and games began the laughter was echoing across Chain of Lakes! Speaking of the lakes, our campers had more team building challenges, building a fire, floating a box contest and Mario carts in canoes back down at waterfront.

After showers and a light snack, it was time for lights out – everyone was ready for bed. 😊

Today was a great day and we are so excited for tomorrow’s planned fun!
